Recruitment Challenge

The Cubs have started a recruitment challenge, which will last from now until the end of term.

In a bid to boost numbers of boths Cubs and Leaders, they have been handed recruitment cards. There is a space for their name on the back on them. Please fill this in.

For each new cub or friend that turns up to Cubs on a Friday night and hands us back a card, the Cubs whose name is on the back will recieve 10 points. For each new leader, make it a 100!

Tallies will be kept and a winner will be announced at the end of term.

Prizes for the biggest points tally!

Welcome Back

Hi All,

We start meeting again next week, Friday 18th, I apologise for the delay in updating the calendar.

Hope you all had a great Easter.

Can I take this opportunity to inform you more about the Pentland District Camp:

Drop Off and Pick Up: Parents are being asked to drop off and pick up only - Beavers and Cubs will be safely grouped in the field on the left hand side at Torduff Rd.

Badges: Can you please ensure that all beavers and cubs arrive on site wearing a badge with their name, group and 93rd Pentland on it. A sticky white label will be adequate!

Uniform: Although this is a Scouting event, uniform is not necessary on the day. If Beavers and Cubs would like dress for the occasion, it will add to the fun!

Cheers,

Allan
